The Associate of General Studies Degree (AGS) will require a minimum of 60 hours.  The AGS degree will require the following core curriculum courses:

English 1010 and 1020 (6 hours)
Mathematics 1020 (3 hours)
Natural Sciences (6 hours)
Humanities (3 hours)
Fine Arts 1040 (3 hours)
Social Sciences (6 hours)

In addition to the above core requirements, the AGS requires 18 hours in a selected group of concentration and 9 hours in two other designated academic enrichment groups.  All students should refer to 2011-2012 University Catalog for specific core course options.  Additionally, it is important for all AGS students to develop an approved plan of study with a designated ACE advisor.
