The RN to BSN Completion Program at Northwestern State University of Louisiana allows registered nurses with Associate Degrees or diplomas in nursing to attain the baccalaureate degree. All required nursing courses (31 hours) and all of the required general education courses are offered via the Internet. Course objectives and clinical experiences are designed to meet the unique needs and interests of the registered nurse student. This program allows registered nurse students to complete theory and clinical degree requirements in their own community. Graduates of NLN (National League for Nursing) accredited programs are awarded 31 hours of credit in lower level nursing courses. Transfer credit for general education courses is awarded on an individual basis.
