The Master of Arts, emphasizing adult and continuing education, prepares candidates to become teachers of adults, administrators of continuing education, and designers of instruction for informal and workplace training.  Participants work in a collaborative, technology-enhanced setting to link theory and policy with real world application in an environment that models best adult education practice.  The program provides choices in research and credentialing that enhance previous experience and individual aspiration.  Participants with appropriate teaching or supervisory prerequisites may elect to achieve Louisiana Adult Educator or GED Center Supervisor certification in the course of the degree.
